Served by nearby international primaries, the International Bilingual School of Provence (IBS) lies just south of Aix-en-Provence in Luynes. IBS has its own primary, college and lycée and boasts nearly 500 students from 50+ countries, 130 of whom are boarding. Following the French curriculum from 6ème to 3ème, IBS students can then choose to prepare for the French baccalaureat or other national exams.
With the motto, “Ubi Spiritus Ibi Libertas,” IBS marries the best of the French Bac and other English-language systems, such as the IB. A majority of graduates place into UK universities with others placing into universities in mainland Europe, US, and Canada.
2-3 week summer camp sessions run throughout the summer months. French is offered as both a first and second language. There is also English as a Foreign Language and French curriculum mathematics. Summer campers have the choice of one to three sports such as tennis, table tennis, horse riding and football.
